The Thousand Sunny drifted on warm, glowing waters; the horizon painted in deep orange. The salty breeze carried hints of spice and earth, unlike any the Straw Hats had smelled before.

“Oi, Nami, where the hell are we?!” Luffy shouted from the figurehead, stretching his nose as if sniffing treasure. “That land smells like meat!!”

Sanji’s eyes turned dreamy. “Meat? Idiot captain. That’s curry… fragrant spices, tangy sauces, sizzling fish! Ahhh… the women of that land must cook with love!”

“FOOOD!!” Luffy yelled, practically leaping into the sea.

“Sit down, you idiot!” Nami smacked him with her staff. She frowned at the log pose in her hand. “This isn’t right… the needle’s frozen. It won’t move at all.”

“That only happens when you’re near places with… mysteries,” Robin said softly, her gaze fixed on the coastline.

The Sunny creaked as it slid into a bay. Before them rose half-sunken stone temples carved with lotuses, lions, and warriors, the ocean licking at their edges. Golden sands stretched behind them into thick green forests.

“Whoa…” Usopp gasped, legs shaking. “That’s a ghost city if I ever saw one!”

Brook shivered. “Yohohoho! Don’t say ghost, my bones will rattle off my body!”

Chopper’s eyes sparkled. “Robin! Do you know what this place is?”

Before Robin could answer, Jinbe stepped forward, his face unusually grim. He stared at the temples with wide eyes, his voice dropping low.

“…Impossible.”

The crew turned to him.

Jinbe clenched his fists. “This current… these carvings… This is supposed to be Kumari Kandam.

“Kuma-what now?” Zoro asked, scratching his head.

“A land from old legends,” Jinbe continued. “It was said to be swallowed by the sea long before our time. A kingdom so vast and powerful, even Fishman Island carried whispers of it. And ruling it… was the Pandya Dynasty.

Robin’s eyes gleamed with curiosity. “The Pandyas…? I’ve read fragments about them. Their treasure was said to rival even the greatest empires.”

“Treasure?!” Luffy’s eyes turned into golden stars. “WE’RE GOING THERE!!”

“IDIOT!!” Nami yanked his ear.

Just then, small fishing boats approached, their sails painted with tigers and lotuses. Weathered men stared at the Sunny with suspicion.

One elder raised his hand and called out, his voice sharp like the tide:
“Outsiders… you tread near forbidden waters. Many have come seeking the treasure of the Pandyas. None have returned.”

Usopp fell to his knees. “W-we’re doomed!! It’s cursed treasure, I knew it!”

But Luffy only grinned wider, fearless as always.

“Then let’s be the first to find it.”

The sun dipped lower, painting the temples in firelight. The sea stilled, as if listening. A mystery older than the World Government itself waited for them beyond those shores.
